July 2010 - All of these pups have been adopted to AR, TX and NY! The Momma dog remains with the family that rescued her.

February 2010 - Tammy, a single Mom, and her daughter Taylor, live in yet another rural part of Arkansas were dogs are often "dumped". So far they have Pretty Boy - a reddish mixed breed, Camo - a Corgi mix, Mickey - a Pitbull mix, all of whom were dumped in the area and Baby, a Chihuahua that they took in from an elderly couple who could no longer care for her. On January 4, 2010 a pregnant dog that had been dumped gave birth to five little sweeties. It had already been a struggle for Tammy to feed everyone, much less get proper veterinarian care, so OOTW stepped in to assist.

The pups have been named after our Olympic medallists at the Winter Games. Mom is a Yellow Lab who weighs 45 pounds. The Dad, who knows! Just like our Olympic stars, they are healthy, beautiful and outgoing.

March 28, 2010: The first pup to be adopted is Apolo!  Apolo came to the city to live in a wonderful home with two boys to play with!

March 17, 2010: The pups are doing well and have been wormed twice and given two sets of vaccinations.  They are growing and we hope that soon we will have adoptive homes for all of them as they are 9 weeks old.

February 28, 2010:  Camo and Mickey were spayed.  Tammy's adult son has taken Mickey to live at his home.  Pretty Boy disappeared, as did several other dogs that were homeless in the area after gunshots were heard nearby.  Tammy thinks that a farmer in the area likely took the stray dog situation into his own hands.
