Huck

Out of the Woods Rescue - Just wanted to pass along how happy our family is with our recent adoption of Huck. We could not be happier or more in love with the little guy! He is so lovable with our family...
He is a very smart dog - loves to fetch a ball and bring it back, he snuggled up next to our cat last night, uses the doggie door, and comes to voice commands.
If you ever need anyone for a testimonial or letter of reference, feel free to contact me.
Huck has brought alot of love, laughter, and silliness into our home.

Thank you so very much and Happy New Year to you!

Tyler, Sharon, Travis, Kelsey, Ming, and Huck T.

Sawyer (right)

Just wanted to tell you how well Sawyer is doing!  He is absolutely the happiest dog I have ever seen!!!!  He loves his toys, he loves his backyard, and he loves his new-found freedom with his doggy door! Sadie chases sawyer all over the backyard, and they are definitely tired at the end of the day. Sawyer is definitely asserting himself more and takes control of ALL the toys! It is too funny! Sadie doesn't seem to mind, though. She just lets him have his way!  It is so sweet! I don't believe I have ever seen a little dog wag his tail in so many different directions at one time!  What can I say, Charles and I are just super happy!  I didn't know life was so dull before! :)  Sawyer has brightened up all our lives...Thank you so much for taking such good care of him...  he is just perfect. It is amazing how loving and sweet he is.  I really admire what you do.

Thanks so much for everything,

Suzie

Hello, Miss Suzie is doing fabulous :)  She has blossomed and is such a delight!  Suzie is funny, and sneaky, and smart and has a very strong voice!... Needless to say, we are in love!!  And she is fitting perfectly into our family! Thank you again for taking care of Suzie and making this happen.  We are very thankful for good people out there like you :)

Hugs from Suzie!

Buddy (Bingo)

Buddy is such a GREAT dog! I couldn't be happier!!!
Debbie, his foster mother, was so helpful during the adoption process and I thank her for shaping his behavioral patterns and manners. So happy and a good boy!
He adjusted so easily to life in New York City and has become the star of the neighborhood!
He is so sweet to everyone...babies, children and LOVES other dogs! Fascinated with cats and squirrels! I think he is Lab and Pointer, certainly a hunter.
We visit the parks and watch squirrels everyday (they are so friendly in NYC!) and meet so many people. Everyone comments on how handsome, shiny and friendly he is.
He is perfectly content with apartment/city living, has adjusted to noise, skateboards, strollers, pigeons...everything!! AMAZING!!
I tell everyone "we" meet Buddy's story and hope they will consider adopting a pet from out of state.

All my best and thank you all so much-

Stretch.JPG

Stretch (left)

Stretch is doing great and I adore him.  The best news, though, is that Vernie and Stretch not only like each other, they LOVE each other.  They snuggle together and play together all day long.  Stretch has managed to bring out the puppy in Vern - and maybe also Vern's paternal instinct?? Let me tell you, they tear around this little house like it's a motor speedway!  It's like Vern is a whole new dog - who knew?

Annie Rose

She barks! She growls! She howls like a beagle!!!  Especially if someone walks their dog by the front of my house and she's looking out the window in my office.  And she pulls on my socks when we're getting ready to go out for a walk!  She is just terrific!... She loves her walks...  She's a doll and we love her. She loves to give kisses....Annie is home.  Safe, full tummy, happy, healthy and loved.  Thank you so much for saving this precious little dog.  God sent her to us, through you. She's a keeper! Cash my check!

Winston & Juniper

We adopted Winston in November of 2007 and a foster-turned adoption for Juniper in March of 2008.  We could not be happier with our new additions.  It seems like they have been in our hearts forever.  They love to "share" toys.  No matter how many toys are in the basket, only one gets played with at a time. Sometimes Winston is chewing and Juniper is as close to him as possible with her head on the floor and eyes on the ball.  Next time I look, Juniper is chewing and Winston is trying to "talk" her into giving it back to him .  It makes us laugh every time.  Thank you OOTW for all of the good work you do!

Patsy

Patsy is doing great.  She smiles at me when I come home...that is the funniest thing!...  I took her to meet the vet today and they loved her.  Everyone thinks she is such a beautiful dog...  She goes everywhere with me in the car and I let her out on a 100ft line to go to the bathroom. I could probably let her go free, but I'm afraid to try it just yet. She is great in the kennel during the day for a few hours while I am at work, then my mother takes her most of the day to play with her dog. She is also eating fine. She weighed 47 lbs. at the vet today.

Take Care!
Sherry
