Fund Out of the Woods through a Planned Gift.
Planned Giving A promise for the future. Homeless pets rely on Out of the Woods to rescue them and provide them healthy
happy lives. OOTW relies on its supporters to ensure that its life-saving work will continue. There are many ways to make your own planned gift and contribute to our life-saving mission:

What
is a "Planned Gift"?
Planned Gifts can come in many forms,
but they all share a common characteristic in that OOTW's use of the gift is deferred in your lifetime. You can make a more significant gift to Out of the Woods than you ever thought
possible, while maximizing the financial and tax benefits to you, your estate, and your family. A planned gift is one of the
most effective ways to ensure that OOTW can carry on its mission of saving animals’ lives far into the future. Planned gifts could be an essential element to
our continued mission to save animals and find them new, loving homes. As you will learn from the information contained in
this section, there are many ways to make your own planned gift and contribute to our life-saving mission.
Gifts through Your Will or Living Trust A gift to Out of the Woods through your will or living
trust is a powerful statement of your support for OOTW's mission.
As an animal lover,
a bequest through a will or trust document is a powerful declaration of the love and compassion you have for homeless animals,
who are the most vulnerable and gentle among us. A bequest is a wonderful way to ensure that your legacy will make a difference
for animals who will need our help in the future to find safe and loving homes. Below
you will find sample language which you can share with your Attorney or Estate Planner. Simply include this language in your
estate document and you can be assured that you played a major role in the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of needy animals.
I give to Out of the Woods Animal
Rescue of Arkansas, Federal I.D. No. 06-1818815,
P.O. Box 7365, Little Rock, AR 72207 , (the sum of $______) (all or ___ % of the residue of my estate/trust),
to be used for its general purposes. If you have questions or would like additional
information, please contact us: contact@ootwrescue.org
Gifts
Through Retirement Plan Beneficiary Designations
Naming OOTW
as the beneficiary of all or a portion of your retirement plan is a simple and smart way to help our orphaned pets.
Retirement plan assets are among the best assets to use for charitable gifts. You
can create a legacy by naming OOTW as beneficiary or contingent beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), Keogh account,
or other qualified retirement plan. Upon your death, all or a portion of the unused balance in your account is transferred
to OOTW. When a retirement account is left to a charity, the organization does not pay
the income tax (or, if applicable, estate taxes) that might otherwise be due if left to an individual beneficiary. Here is the information
you need to name OOTW as your beneficiary:

Transfer
on Death Accounts (TOD) You can support Out
of the Woods by naming OOTW the beneficiary of a "transfer on death" bank or stock account. - In almost all states it is possible to own bank or brokerage
accounts in your name with the provision that on your death it will be transferred to Out of the Woods Animal Rescue. These
are often called “transfer on death” or “pay on death” accounts or Totten trusts.
- If you choose to make OOTW the beneficiary of a TOD account, you have complete
control over the accounts during your lifetime.
Here is the information
you will need to establish a transfer on death account with your bank or broker:

Gifts through Life Insurance
PlansThere are many ways you can benefit homeless animals with a
life insurance policy. You can use your life insurance plan to fulfill your charitable goals and the needs of the animals
of Out of the Woods. By making a gift through life insurance to OOTW, you may be able to make a larger gift than you thought
possible, while retaining other assets for your needs or those of your family. There are a couple of ways to use your insurance
plan to benefit the OOTW.
Name Out of the Woods As The Beneficiary Of Your Policy Create a legacy for OOTW by naming OOTW as a beneficiary or contingent beneficiary of your policy. Simply
complete a Change of Beneficiary Form with your insurance company. To name OOTW as a beneficiary of a life insurance
plan, use the following information when filling out the beneficiary designation form:
Donate
Your Policy To Out of the Woods If you no longer need life insurance that was purchased years
ago to provide for children or other family members, please consider donating the policy to OOTW. By naming OOTW as the
owner and beneficiary of a life insurance plan, you will receive the following benefits: - The pleasure of knowing that you have made a substantial gift to help the animals of OOTW.
- An income-tax charitable deduction in the year of the gift (ordinarily the policy
replacement cost, if the policy is paid up, or the cash surrender value if the policy is not paid up)
Laws regulating gifts of insurance to charitable organizations vary from state to state and can affect the deductibility
of such gifts for federal income-tax purposes. Please consult your legal or financial advisors regarding gifts of life insurance.
Nothing in the planned giving section of this site should be construed
as legal advice. Please contact your attorney or financial advisor to help you decide what is best
