Mail Route Road: 17 dogs & puppies Start Date: Sept 2011 Rescue Coordinator: Sharon H.

Frog Hop Rd: 5 dogs & 14 cats Start
Date: May 2011 Rescue Coordinator:
Pak is a woman who moved all the way from Thailand a year ago to take
care of an elderly man. Three months ago the man died and left all his animals in Pak's care. Pak already had two dogs of
her own and is now caring for 14 cats and a Mama dog with four 11 month old pups.
Now, with no income and much
more responsibility, Pak needed immediate help.
OOTW volunteers visited Pak and took dog food, cat food, flea prevention
and wormer to start the process. Morrilton Veterinary Clinic is nearby, about 5 miles from Pak's home, so appointments have
been made to get all of the dogs and cats spayed and neutered as soon as possible to prevent any further litters.
What you can do to help: We need monetary donations, dog or cat food
donations and would love for someone to take the role of project manager to ensure that this situation continues to be managed.
Let us know if you can help!

THE PUPPY PROJECT: 49 puppies Start Date: February 2011
Puppies, Puppies and more Puppies...
It all started with Betty B. who is
caring for a litter of pups in White County. Next, Sharon G. took in two litters of pups in McRae. Then OOTW heard about pups
that would not have survived the snow storm and bitterly cold temperatures last week if not for OOTW volunteers and fosters
.... While on her mail route, Diana D. spotted a run-down property where a litter of puppies was wandering loose, just babies
who had no shelter. Another litter was rescued in Houston, AR after being spotted by Michael T. They only had the shelter
of a porch and were rescued just in the nick of time... and now OOTW has offered assistance to three new "independent
rescuers", Debbie W, Ann M. and the Cloud family who are caring for more puppies. Along with the Woodson Project, below,
OOTW is helping FOURTY-NINE PUPPIES!!!
PLEASE
HELP OOTW TO HELP THESE PUPS!
As you know, we
can only continue this life-saving work with YOUR help! We need foster homes
and donations, it will cost approximately $200.00 in vet care for each pup, that’s $9800.00,
not including lots and lots of puppy food!

Become an OOTW foster home! They need YOU! If you can
help, please write to contact@ootwrescue.org and we will send you the photos of the ones available to foster. There is just about every breed that you can imagine; Black
Labs, Chocolate Labs, a beautiful auburn Vizla (or mix), dachshunds, a pug, terrier mixes, Eskimo dogs, a huge but skinny
Great Dane (or mix), even one American Pitbull (or mix). We think it is likely that some of these dogs will need heartworm
treatment, but OOTW is prepared to pay all veterinarian bills and provide dog food, heartworm prevention, flea prevention
and anything else they need while in foster care! Be
a HANDS-ON Volunteer! This is also a wonderful way to help. We need folks to go and help give medication and
doses of love and attention to these dogs who have so little. They are coming along well, but this situation must be monitored
long-term. DONATE! As you can imagine,
these ongoing projects will be expensive. If you can help by signing up for the $10.00 monthly donation, please do it now!
Of course, donations of any size are most welcome and will be put to good use.

Let's make PUPPY MILLS a
thing of the PAST and ADOPTION the
ONLY option.
